Omakase in District 1
Kasen is a ten-seat omakase counter at 101 Lê Thị Riêng, District 1. Since 2018, we have served a Saigonese expression of Japanese omakase: seasonal seafood, warm shari and a measured progression of fifteen courses.
The counter is intimate by design. Each piece is prepared in view and introduced as it is served. For groups, Kasen also has a private room for two to twelve guests.

The experience
What an evening at Kasen includes.
Otsumami, sashimi and nigiri unfold alongside modern washoku dishes. The exact menu changes with the season and the fish available that week, while every course is introduced at the counter.
Choose Premium for a balanced first Kasen experience, or Sashimi, Seasonal and Wagyu for different paths through the menu. Sake pairing is available with every menu.
Counter or private room
Choose the setting for your evening.
The ten-seat counter is best for guests who want to watch each piece being made. The private room offers the same fifteen-course progression in a closed setting for two to twelve guests; it is most comfortable for four to eight.
