Omakase in Saigon for visitors and hotel guests

Kasen is a ten-seat omakase counter at 101 Lê Thị Riêng, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, open since 2018 as Saigon’s first omakase counter. The counter team speaks English, Vietnamese and Korean, hotel concierges can book for guests, and there are no fixed seatings.

Getting a table

Reserve online or call 0899 855 101; every request is confirmed by email or phone. Same-day requests are welcome, and calling is the fastest way to confirm a table for today.

The reservation form has a section for booking on behalf of someone else, built for an assistant, hotel concierge or group organiser. Add the guest’s name and phone number and Kasen confirms it like any other request.

The evening

What to expect at the counter.

The omakase is fifteen courses over about one to one and a half hours, built around Toyosu fish and the season’s seafood. See the menus and prices.

Kasen accepts cash, cards and bank transfer, and has on-site parking for cars and motorbikes.

Open daily, 10:30 to 22:00.

Last arrival is 21:30 and there are no fixed seatings. For a group, the private room seats two to twelve guests; see private dining.

Does the Kasen team speak English?
Yes. The counter team speaks English, Vietnamese and Korean, so you can ask about each course in the language you prefer.
